Andrew Gkonos is an actor, best known for his role in The Best of West.
Biography[]
2016[]
During Scott Pincus's junior year of high school, he was a student producer of the school's musicals; that year the school was performing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Andrew played the role of Jeremy Potts, a major character in the musical. Andrew was a freshman in high school at the time, and it was uncommon for freshman to have such major roles in the musicals.
2017[]
The next year, Andrew participated in the school's next musical, The Addams Family, in which he was a member of the ensemble cast. Andrew also had a cameo as Cousin Itt during the show's intermission sessions. The role involved Scott chasing "Cousin Itt" out of the auditorium because he didn't have a ticket.
During one of the shows, Scott approached Andrew about taking on a major role in The Best of West, a short film that shows the highlights of Downingtown West High School. Scott believed Andrew was very fitting for the role, as he looks young and has a very upbeat personality. Andrew agreed to be in the film, and Scott continued working on it. Andrew starred as a up-and-coming freshman in the film, acting alongside Alex Fanelli and Abby Pincus, who is a friend of Andrew's. He filmed the project on May 12, and it was released on May 14.
