Carter Phillips was a character in Jurassic Shark II: The Retribution. He is portrayed by Jon Meunier. Carter was a member of the Shark Hunters and he allied with Eddie Jackson when he wasn't helping Chase Landon. 

Biography

Jurassic Shark II: The Retribution

Carter first appears at the school playground, being trained by Eddie so that he will be more fit to join the Shark Hunters. 

Several weeks later, after officially joining the Shark Hunters, Carter is partnered with Eddie to watch over the sharks at Billy's house. Bored, the two walk behind his barn away from the sharks, and an InGen employee releases the three sharks in their absence. When the sharks head towards Carter and Eddie, Eddie says that they need to fight them, but upon seeing the Hammerhead they retreat back to Chase's house. Once they arrive, they find Chase and Jimmy, and the two explain that the sharks escaped and that they're coming to the cul-de-sac.

As Chase and Jimmy get their weapons, Carter and Eddie keep watch for the sharks, and the Hammerhead soon arrives. The four of them fight the Hammerhead Shark, before Carter and Eddie are both injured. Chase sends Jimmy off to find Brett, and Eddie retreats from the scene. Chase orders Carter to give up on fighting the shark, but Carter ignores the order and continues fighting. However, the Hammerhead manages to push Carter to the ground and kill him. Chase retreats from the scene, terrified. 

Carter is the first of the four people who died during the "Retribution Incident", with the others being Eddie, Brett Nelson and Quinn Freeman. 

Trivia

• Carter is the only protagonist killed in the second film who doesn't appear on any propaganda posters in Jurassic Shark III: The Revolution (not including Max Anderson, who is a minor character).
