Tea-Eee is a short film directed, produced and edited by Scott Pincus. It is the third and final Bread's Crumbs interquel, the fourth chronological film in the Bread's Crumbs Cinematic Universe, and Scott's last film of 2014. The film follows Jumpa and Crunch as they're on vacation, and their encounter a parasitic alien that has possessed an innocent civilian.
The film stars Russell Parkinson and Ryan Bowman, who return as Colonel "Ego" Crunch and Captain "Boter" Jumpa, respectively. Gabe Sagherian debuts as a civilian possessed by Tea-Eee. The film was shot on September 27, 2014, and released on October 3, 2014.
Plot[]
The film opens with a civilian (Gabe Sagherian) running down a street, stumbling to the ground several times before running onto the lawn of the beach house that Captain Jumpa (Ryan Bowman) and Colonel Crunch (Russell Parkinson) were staying at and collapsing to the ground. Crunch leaves the house and finds the civilian, which screeches. The noise wakes up Jumpa, who runs over and joins the standoff. Jumpa and Crunch pretend that they're enemies to try and confuse the civilian, yet he ignores this, and instead begins dancing around.
Jumpa and Crunch flee, with Crunch incapacitating the civilian when he climbs a tree. Jumpa asks the civilian who he is, and in a high-pitched voice he calls himself "Tea-Eee". The civilian springs to his feet and runs down the street. Crunch and Jumpa go in pursuit, with Crunch riding a skateboard and wielding a leafblower, which Jumpa runs with two pistols.
Eventually, they corner the civilian in a cul-de-sac at the bottom of the street, where Jumpa orders him to drop his weapons. The civilian runs at them, and Jumpa shoots him multiple times - though the civilian's armored suit makes this ineffective. Crunch blasts his leafblower at the civilian's face, and his hair flies off. They soon realize that the hair was Tea-Eee, a parasitic alien using the civilian as a host. Jumpa and Crunch pursue Tea-Eee as it scurries up the street. When it attacks them, the civilian intervenes and crushes Tea-Eee under his foot. The trio then runs up the street together.
Trivia[]
- Unlike all the other thumbnails for the Bread's Crumbs interquels, the picture used for the thumbnail is not a still from the film; it was staged and taken during filming.
- This film, as well as Alias Odium, are the only Bread's Crumbs films that don't feature or mention John Bacchus.
- This is one of three Bread's Crumbs films that make no mention of The Crumbs, the others being Alias Odium and Omega.
- The effect of Tea-Eee scurrying up the street was accomplished using the leafblower.
